Direct-to-milk storage bag design also means that you have fewer parts to wash, unlike other wearable breast pumps where you need to wash the container every time you finish using it.

Using the Jevonbaby breast pump

How do I get started?

Before handling your breast pump, we suggest massaging your breast with a hot towel to make sure there is no duct blockage. Please ensure to wash your hands thoroughly and clean your breasts and nipples.

How do I get the pump in the right position?

We suggest practising alignment in a mirror several times before your first pumping session.

Choose the right nipple funnel inserts size and center the nipple funnel inserts (without the pump attached) over your nipple to ensure there is no gap between them (this prevents any leakage or discomfort).

When you place the nipple funnel inserts inside the pump for your first session, you’ll have a better idea of alignment, which will improve as you gain experience. Most moms are pros after a few sessions.

Is the material used in Jevonbaby pumps food grade and BPA free?

Yes, our breast pumps and accessories are made of food-grade silicone and are BPA-free materials.

Can the Jevonbaby pump effectively empty my breast?

Our pump has 3 modes and 9 intensity levels, with hospital-grade suction, which can be adjusted according to your needs to effectively empty the breast.

We have upgraded the breast shield and nipple funnel inserts to increase your comfort and suction effectiveness, making it suitable for most mothers.

Is double pumping more effective?

Yes, double pumping produces 19% more milk on average compared to single pumping.

Do I need to buy 2 breast pumps?

It’s up to you! Some mothers prefer to pump one side at a time, while those who are exclusively pumping may prefer to have a pair of breast pumps to save time.

Do Jevonbaby Pumps automatically shut down?

Yes. The Jevonbaby pump will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of use.

Will Jevonbaby still work if I produce more than the pump's capacity on each side?

Jevonbaby's milk bags and PPSU milk bottles hold up to 5 oz or 150ml of milk. The pump automatically shuts off after 30 mins. If you pump more than 5 oz in a single session, you can easily stop the session, switch out the bags or bottles with new empty ones, and continue pumping.

When the storage bags or bottles are full, can you empty them and keep pumping?

You have the option to stop your pumping session, switch out full storage bags or bottles with empty ones, and continue pumping.

Additionally, our pump has a memory function that saves your mode and intensity level settings, so you don't have to readjust them when you’re ready to carry on.

Does the pump shut off when the storage bags or bottles are full?

No, the pump doesn’t shut off automatically when the storage bags or bottles are full. The pump design makes it easy to keep an eye on your milk levels, so you can monitor how much you’ve collected and shut off the pump when the storage bags or bottles are full.

How do I take the Jevonbaby pump apart?

Our pump is designed to be incredibly easy to use. You can take it apart in 3 steps:

1: Detach the breast shield from the pump.

2: Remove the valve and nipple funnel inserts from the breast shield.

3: Detach the storage bag or feeding bottle from the pump.

Can I breastfeed on one side and pump on the other?

Yes. Our pump is compact and easy to use, making it simple to pump on one side while breastfeeding your baby on the other.

Getting the sizing right

Will Jevonbaby Pump fit all breast sizes?

Jevonbaby pump is designed to fit comfortably into any bra, regardless of your cup size.

It comes with a 28mm breast shield and different-sized nipple funnel inserts (13mm, 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm), so you can pump in comfort and ensure you get the most milk out of your session. You can use our Nipple sizing tool to help you choose the right one.

What are the available breast shield sizes for Jevonbaby Pump, and how do I know which one fits me?

Jevonbaby pump comes with a 28mm Breast shield and 6 nipple funnel inserts (sized 13mm, 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21 mm & 24mm). Our breast shields are sized according to how wide the base of your nipple is. You can use our nipple sizing tool to work out your size and get the perfect fit.

Why is it important to know my Nipple Funnel Insert size?

An ill-fitting nipple funnel insert can cause you discomfort or even pain, and make pumping difficult and frustrating. By using the right nipple funnel size for your nipple, you can improve your pumping experience, and even increase the volume of milk you can produce!

Can I use other brands' s nipple funnel inserts?

For maximum comfort and milk volume, we recommend using the Jevonbaby nipple funnel inserts provided with your breast pump.

Does sizing change over time?

Yes, nipple size can change throughout your breastfeeding journey, often getting smaller over time. We recommend re-sizing every three months, or anytime you order a fresh nipple funnel insert . We also suggest re-sizing if you experience an unexpected change in volume or things start to get a bit less comfortable, as this can indicate an incorrect nipple funnel insert size.

What’s it really like using the Jevonbaby wearable breast pump?

How quiet is the breast pump?

When in use, the noise level of our pump is less than 50Db. We’re incredibly proud of how quiet and discreet it is, and we’re confident that you can pump anywhere without anyone noticing.

What are the best positions to pump in? Can I move around while I pump?

For maximum comfort and milk volume, we recommend sitting or standing upright. But, we know you have things to do! So, with our cordless pump and its internal rechargeable battery, you can walk, multi-task or play with your little one without being tied to a power outlet.

(It’s important to note that our pumps aren't suitable for use during intense physical activity. And you shouldn’t bend over completely, as there is a possibility that the milk could spill out from the breast shield.)

Do I need a specialized nursing bra to use the pump?

The Jevonbaby pump is designed to work with any bra. For best results, make sure the pump is snug against your breast with no gaps.

Is expressing with the pump comfortable?

The Jevonbaby pump is designed to optimize your comfort while you pump. To get the most comfortable experience, make sure you’re using the right suction intensity and the correct nipple funnel insert size. To find your size, please refer to our sizing tool.

How many modes and intensity settings does Jevonbaby have?

Jevonbaby comes with 3 modes: Massage, Expression & Stimulation (this setting is a combination of the massage and the expression modes). The suction mode can be adjusted to 9 different intensity levels. You'll need to experiment with different settings to find the one that is most comfortable and efficient for you.

How do massage, expression, and stimulation modes differ from each other?

Massage mode: Mimics the fast suckling rhythm that a baby does to stimulate your milkflow (letdown). It is advisable to start with massage mode first.

Expression mode: Once letdown is achieved, switch to expression mode for slower rhythm and more intense milk expression.

Stimulation mode: It is a combination of both Massage & Expression mode. It will stimulate and express breast milk at the same time. (This is a good option for sensitive nipples)

What suction level can I expect?

The suction mode can be adjusted to 9 different intensity levels, all the way up to hospital-grade suction. You'll need to experiment with different settings to find the one that is most comfortable and efficient for you.

Do I need to purchase a traditional pump as well as a Jevonbaby pump?

No! While other wearable pumps don’t have the suction needed and have to be paired with a traditional pump, our wearable pump provides hospital-grade suction to effectively clear your breast and pump the milk your baby needs. All with an internal rechargeable battery and no wires. So you can do all this while commuting, working, or even sightseeing!

Is Jevonbaby's pump a closed system?

Yes, Jevonbaby is a closed system. This ensures no milk enters the motor, making it safe for you and your baby.

How long does it take to charge the pump, and how long does a full charge last?

Our pump takes approximately three hours or less to fully charge, and the charge typically lasts for up to 3 hours of use. This generally translates into Five to Six 30 minute pumping sessions. However, the duration of the battery usage may vary depending on the mode and intensity setting you’re using.

Bottles, bags, and accessories

What capacity do the milk storage bags and bottles have?

Our milk storage bags and bottles hold 5oz or 150ml of milk.

Does the pump come with storage bags or bottles?

Our pump comes with 6 milk storage bags and 1 PPSU feeding bottle. You can pump directly into the milk storage bags or bottles, and then store them in the fridge or freezer when you're done. If you require more storage bags, you can purchase them on our Accessories page.

Can I purchase spare parts, such as milk storage bags, and bottles?

Yes, you can purchase all of the accessories and spare parts for your Jevonbaby pump separately. You’ll find them on our Accessories page.

Can I use other milk storage bags or feeding bottles with my Jevonbaby pump?

We highly recommend using the feeding bottles and storage bags by Jevonbaby for the best experience. However, our breast pump is designed with a universal narrow bottle thread so it might suit certain brands of bottles that have similar thread size. You can purchase them from our accessories page

Caring for your JevonBaby breast pump

Do I need to clean the breast pump before I use it for the first time?

Absolutely! It is essential to wash and sterilize all breast pump parts and bottles before using them for the first time.

Can I use the milk storage bag directly from the box packaging?

Yes! Our milk storage bags are all sterilized with gamma-ray sterilization to ensure they are 100% clean and safe to be used right out of the box.

Which parts of the pump do I need to clean?

Basically, every part of the breast pump that comes into contact with your breast or the milk must be cleaned after each use. Yes, we mean breast shields, feeding bottles, nipple funnel inserts, valve, diaphragm and milk bag adapter (if you are using a milk storage bag). This removes any dried breast milk residue and prevents the growth of bacteria and germs.

How often should I clean the breast pump?

We recommend cleaning your breast pump parts and bottles after each use. You should also sterilize them once a day.

How do I clean the Jevonbaby Pump?

Non-washable parts like the pump body should be wiped clean with a damp cloth and kept dry after wiping.

Washable parts like the valve, diaphragm, breast shield, nipple funnel inserts, milk-feeding bottles or parts that contact the breast and breast milk, must be properly cleaned after each use. Rinse all parts in drinking quality water and soak them in warm 40°C, soapy water for 5 minutes. Wash each part with a clean and soft brush.

Once cleaned, place the parts on a clean surface or towel and allow them to air dry. Store the dry parts in a clean, cool place until you're ready to use them again. Whether you're at home or on the go, keeping your breast pump parts clean is essential for the health and safety of you and your baby.

How do I sanitize the Jevonbaby pump and its accessories?

Before first use and once per day:

Non-washable parts like the pump body, which houses the motor, should be wiped with a low-level disinfectant such as ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol (70% - 90%).

For washable parts like the valve, diaphragm, breast shield, nipple funnel inserts, milk feeding bottles or parts that contact the breast and breast milk, simply separate all parts from the pump and wash with your hands thoroughly. Then, boil water in a pot and place the parts in it for 10 minutes. After that, remove the parts and allow them to air dry on a clean surface or towel. Store the dry parts in a clean, cool place when not in use. Storing wet or damp parts can encourage the growth of bacteria and germs.

All washable parts can be steam sterilized and UV sterilized. UV sterilization process will cause some of the parts to become discolored, but this won’t impact how they function.

How often should I replace Jevonbaby Pump accessories?

You should replace the silicone parts of your breast pump every 1-3 months to maintain optimum performance. For other accessories, it will vary according to usage. If you notice that your pump has lost suction, inspect the parts for wear, fraying, or stretching, and replace them if needed.

How can I store the breast pump after use?

Store the dry parts in a clean, cool place until you're ready to use them again. Whether you're at home or on the go, keeping your breast pump parts clean is essential for the health and safety of you and your baby.

Health & Safety

Can I safely use the Jevonbaby wearable breast pump if I have an implanted device?

If you have an active implanted device that can be affected by a magnetic field, such as a pacemaker or implantable cardioverter defibrillator, we do not recommend using an electric breast pump. Please consult your healthcare professional.

Can I use the Jevonbaby pump while pregnant?

We recommend waiting until after you’ve given birth to use the Jevonbaby pump. If you are currently breastfeeding or pumping and become pregnant, it is important to consult your healthcare professional.

Can more than one person use a Jevonbaby pump?

No, the Jevonbaby pump is designed to be a single-user product. Breast pumps are personal care items and should not be shared or rented.

Teething problems

How do I prevent leaks during pumping?

First, make sure your sitting posture is correct. Lean forward at 45 degrees while keeping the milk storage bags or bottles upright. And check that you’ve put the pump into position correctly.

(1) Leaking between the device and the milk storage bags or bottles:
If you notice a leak between the device and the milk storage bags or bottles, it might be due to an improperly secured connection. Make sure to tighten the connection between the pump and storage bags to stop the leak.

(2) Leaking from the breast shield hole:
Leaking from the breast shield hole could occur if you lean back too far or if you’re using an incorrect nipple funnel insert size. To prevent this, try to sit in a vertical position while pumping, and check that you are using the correct nipple funnel inserts for your nipple size. What should I do if I experience low suction?

There could be a few reasons why you’re experiencing low suction from the pump.

The first thing to check is the connection between the pump and all the parts (especially the diaphragm and valve). Disassemble and inspect them for any damage, including cracks, chips, holes, or tears. If any part is damaged, stop using it and purchase a replacement. After checking the parts, reassemble them correctly and make sure they fit snugly.

If the suction is still low, check that you are using the correct nipple funnel inserts for your nipple size. You can check this using our Nipple sizing tool.

You can also adjust the modes and suction levels to find a setting that works best for you.

What should I do if pumping is painful?

If you’re feeling pain while you’re pumping, then you could be using the wrong size nipple funnel inserts. You can check this using our Nipple sizing tool.

Alternatively, you could be using a mode or intensity level that is too strong for you. You can adjust the suction of your pump across 9 different levels to find one that is comfortable for you.

My Jevonaby pump is producing excessive noise while pumping!

When your pump’s motor is running, some noise is normal (up to 50dB). However, if you're experiencing excessive or abnormal noise, there could be a problem.

To troubleshoot, make sure the pump and its accessories are undamaged. Check that all the parts are installed correctly and ensure that there's no gap between the breast pump and the breast.

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or refunds unless the items purchased are defective, or they were damaged when you received them. Products that have been worn, used, damaged due to mishandling, deteriorated or incorrectly customized cannot be returned. Free items cannot be returned.

Warranty

Does the Jevonbaby pump have a warranty?

Your Jevonbaby pump comes with a 12-month warranty that covers defects in the materials and manufacture of the pump device. The following is not covered under the warranty:

- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence or accident, or any other cause not related to defects in materials or manufacture.
- Improper storage of the Jevonbaby Pump.
- Unauthorised disassembly, repair, alteration, or modification of the product or components.
- Failure to comply with the operating instructions of the device or components supplied with the product.
- Normal wear and tear that results from regular use of the product.
- Overflowing of liquid (water/milk entry) into the Jevonbaby Pump motor.
- Purchasing a second-hand Jevonbaby pump.

You will need your original proof of purchase with your order number from Jevonbaby.com to claim your warranty.

How do I register for my pump warranty?

Once you purchase your Jevonbaby pump, you are automatically entitled to the 12-month warranty, without any need to register. For full details, please refer to the warranty policy.

When does the warranty period start?

Jevonbaby pump is backed by a warranty against any defects on the motor unit only for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase or the baby's date of birth, whichever is later. (Postponement of warranty commencement date should be no more than 6 months) For full details, please refer to the warranty policy.

What should I do if my warranty has expired?

What are the fees for local shipping?

For orders above S$85, we're delighted to offer free standard local shipping within Singapore. Should your order be below S$85, a nominal shipping fee of S$4.95 will be applied for local Singapore shipping.

Do you offer express shipping options?

For local Singapore orders, we offer an express shipping option at a supplementary cost of S$25. With this service, expect your parcel at your doorstep the very next working day. In truly urgent situations, where time is of the essence, drop us a line at hello@jevonbaby.com. We get it - sometimes you need that replacement part pronto.

To accommodate your needs further, we offer an expedited shipping choice. If you finalize your order before 12 pm (Monday to Friday), brace yourself for a same-day delivery. Orders received after 12 pm or on weekends will arrive the following working day.

When will the Jevonbaby pump be available for purchase outside Singapore? And does your company provide international shipping?

Jevonbaby offers worldwide shipping.

How long will it take for my parcel to arrive?

Orders are processed and shipped on regular business days excluding national and special non-working holidays. Any orders placed on Saturday and Sunday, will be processed on the following Monday.

What is the estimated delivery time for my order?

Local Singapore delivery:

General door-step delivery: 2-5 working days
Express delivery: Placed order before 12 pm (Monday to Friday)Within 24 hours, Placed order after 12 pm or on weekends will arrive the following working days

What should I do if my package was marked as delivered, but I did not receive it?

If you receive a delivery notification but have not received your package, we recommend waiting 2-3 business days. Where do you ship from, and do you ship to my country?

We ship all orders from our Singapore warehouse, and we ship worldwide. If you have any questions about shipping or our warehouses, please contact us before placing your order.

I received the wrong package, or my package was defective? 

If you received the wrong item or it was defective, we've got you covered. Note that items must be unopened and intact. Once we've verified the error or defect, we'll arrange for an exchange at your convenience with no extra cost.
